Apartment Review for Harbour Town - Boca Raton, FL

It has been the WORST apartment I have ever stayed in my life. 1. The Maintainence sucks: When we moved into the apartment. I gave the initial apartment inspection sheet in the leasing office with all the issues, but the maintenance staff did not show up for almost 10 days and that too only after I went to leasing office 3 times seeking the status of the request. 2. There are bug issues in the apartment. My 6 month old son has been suffering night in and out because of the bugs. When I tried to bring this issue with the leasing office, there response was there are NON BITING BUGS in the house (and yes, they do acknowledged that there are non BITING Bugs), so they wont let me out of the house without paying a hefty two months rent as penalty. Infact, when I told that if I keep the door open for door repairs a lizard might crawl in and might be harmful for my 6 month old son, the response was: Lizards would be good for you as it will eat away the bugs:((((, and since my son is just 6 months old, he wont be active enough to catch those lizards:(. SHOCKING ! 3. The roof in the patio was leaking when I moved into the house. After repeated requests, they finally fixed it in 10 or so days. 4. The main door of the apartment was broken. They replaced that after I moved in. 5. The bath tub was in a very bad shape. They again took a complete day to repair the same. We had to go out of the apartment for one complete day because of the foul smell. so Bottom line the leasing office folks do not care as they know they will get renters one way or the others. To make matter worse, they wont leave any chance to extract money out of you. I would be moving out soon, after probably paying the hefty fine, but I do not want other poor folks like me to suffer. So before moving into the apartment, be very very very very careful. This place Sucks to the extreme!
