Apartment Review for San Marco @ Broken Sound - Boca Raton, FL

Having lived at this property for three years, I had planned on staying. I was expecting a 10% increase in rent, about the same as the rental increase every other year. It was to my shock that to re-sign my lease I would have to pay additional $400 a month. I comsider myself an excellent resident and have never had any complaints, so the only reason I can find for this increase is greed. Manangement on the other hand will probably tell you that due to the hurricanes and the demand for rental propertys they have to increase rental rates. I believe this is just an excuse, having looked around at other similar rental propertys I have not found any that have rent for the same size unit renting for more then $100 more then I pay now. Taking the FL housing market into consideration, and the unbelievable inflation that has taken place over the last two years, leaves me to conclude that Florida is no longer the less expensive option compared to most places thoughout the rest of the country.
