Apartment Review for San Marino At Town Place - Boca Raton, FL

I am writing this review out of frustration. My husband has been a tenant here about six years. I moved in two years ago when we got engaged. First the good... The location is awesome! You can't beat it. It's 5 minutes to turnpike, 3 minutes to 95, right across the street from banks, drugstores, restaurants, grocery store, and the Boca Town Center Mall. It is a fairly small community so everyone is pretty friendly and gets along well. The maintenance staff are likewise friendly and competent. It is pretty good value for your money considering the location and the space that you get. There are huge closets, big bedrooms, big two car garages. The bad... Although the landscaping is still decent it has gone down hill. The pool area is very small/no hot tub and there is no clubhouse to rent. They very seldom turn on the pool heater so it is always freezing unless it's August and they don't keep it very clean. The interiors are extremely outdated and EVERYTHING IS WHITE! EVERYTHING! Appliances, Cabinets, Trim, walls! It's so depressing! I am all for neutrality but it's definitely reminiscent of a scary 1960's hospital! The ugly... The appliance are totally outdated and down right insufficient! They give these crappy no name brands. I have rust stains on my clothes from the washer, it takes FOREVER to dry the clothes (which uses more electricity that I pay for)and they are all like a hundred years old! The workmanship on these apartments is downright shotty. There is caulk smeared everywhere! The floors, the cabinets, the walls. The Stair cases aren't level and are wobbly. When the cable was installed during construction, a very poor job was done so our cable and internet are constantly out. We've Comcast, Brighthouse you name it out at least twice a month. They tells us they have re-wire the whole building and dig up all the drives. They have to get permission from the property managers for that and nothing never happens. My husband has been here six years and it's like getting the third degree because we're asking for new carpet, which they still haven't approved. When they hire outside contractors to come in and fix stuff they are unreliable and do a poor job because they are too cheap to hire someone decent. I personally can not wait to move.
